Countries

While we have been to well over 100 countries, there are certain countries in which we have conducted business frequently and regularly over the decades, thereby developing an extensive base of contacts and insider knowledge. Here follows a list of countries in which we specialize.

Australia despite a population of only 20 million, a surprisingly large proportion of the world's minerals are mined in Australia, making this country far more important in the region than it's population would suggest.

Belgium world renowned for it's chocolate and beer, the value of Belgium to a foreign business person lies in the fact that Belgium spams two cultures, giving an entree into the Netherlands to the North and France to the South.

Dubai/UAE this region, probably more than most other destinations, is where the cliche 'it's not what you know, but who you know' is valid. Although the region has suffered with the GFC in recent years, the business opportunities are still enormous.

France despite a perception of antagonism between France and the United States, it is in fact remarkably easy to do business with the French and they are very welcoming of Americans. In addition, most participants relish the cuisine and culture that doing business in France entails.

Indiathe country's rapid economic ascendance is transforming other nations' perception of India and its impact on the world. As this evolution continues, and based on its significant population, it is inevitable that India will soon be one of the major economic powerhouses. Over the last six years Dolf has been increasingly working with people and companies from India. Watch this space to see how you may participate in the opportunities.

Indonesia
most people have heard of Bail, but few realize Indonesia comprises some 14,000 islands, spans five time zones, and with 220 million people, constitutes the most populous nation in the southern hemisphere.

Italy Italy is a hotbed for style, innovative products, and lateral thinking, although we feel sure many business people relish the country for its cuisine and culture.

Japan despite its reputation of being the only Western nation whose population is in decline, Japan continues to lead the world in many industry sectors including automobiles, optics, electronics and medicine. While Japan has become very Westernized over the past decades, knowing some ground rules greatly affects your success in Japan.

Malaysia with a great work ethic, an advantageous geographic location, an optimistic multi-cultural population, and the diligent application of shear hard work, Malaysia has transformed itself into an economic powerhouse. The benefits of trade with Malaysia are multi-faceted.

Netherlands you may be surprised to know that the Netherlands has the 16th largest economy in the world and has been playing a special role in the European economy for centuries. With the largest port in Europe, the Netherlands is one of the world's 10 leading exporting countries. Furthermore, most Asian companies place their European headquarters in the Netherlands (for good reason).

New Zealand this beautiful country's influence on the world, in terms of science, sport, movie-making, and many other endeavors, is totally out of proportion to its relatively small population of just over 4 million. It remains one of our most popular destinations.

Singapore with almost no natural resources, the island nation of Singapore has thrived through education and hard work. It is a financial hub in Asia, has one of the largest shipping ports in the world, and is one of the safest and cleanest places on this planet.

South Africa the African continent is poised for massive growth, and South Africa is still the most dynamic - and accessible - country to deal with. And it is an awesome country to visit.

Thailand few of our clients go to Thailand without coming away being completely surprised and awed by this country's prospects and the gentle and genuine nature of its citizens. We have seen dramatic changes in the ease of trading with this country over the last 30 years, and believe this trend will only accelerate.
